Wells Valley Cabin Renovation

The Wells Valley Lodge located at Camp Sinoquipe
was built in the 1960s by Troop 81 of Wells Tannery
using volunteer labor and donated materials. The lodge
has been in continuous use since then, and after fifty
years, is in dire need of renovations, updates to meet
current codes, and to enlargement the living space to
accommodate a more modern (less rustic) uses.

The scope of work includes the addition of a 435 sq.
ft. kitchen/dining area, a new full length covered porch,
new windows and doors, updated wiring, and
refurbished interior surfaces. The lodge houses up to
thirty people.

Having been built by Fulton Countians, the Great
Cove District leadership has committed to rebuilding the
lodge, again using Fulton County volunteers,
contractors, and donated money and materials.

Completion of the project will honor those who worked to
accomplish something valuable for Fulton County youth
half a century ago.

Please consider making a donation of your time,
supplies or money. Also, please keep in mind that this is a
special one time project so if you are already supporting
Scouting through FOS (Friends of Scouting) or Camp,
continue that support and make a special gift to this

All donations are graciously accepted and
appreciated. All donations of $100 or greater will be
recognized on a plaque permanently hung in the lodge.
